"I think the best wind direction is SW or South. From what I hear it doesn't get good all that often, but both times I have kited there it was really fun. Today there were tons of migrating birds on the island, including some big white Pelicans. Water was still pretty cold. [...] Parked at the very west end of the Four Seasons Campground/Resort. Tethered to the truck. Nice guy, Scott, owns the property. People usually drop off 5 bucks to launch there." - Rick Kalamar
