At the area boundary sign on the skiers left side of Chin Clip, traverse to skiers left into beautiful hardwood glades. Drop in and ski wide open woods until you reach a traverse, follow this back to Chin Clip for an easy return to the Gondola. While close to the trail, be aware that this is still outside the area boundary and poses unmarked hazards. One in particular is the creek to the left. Trending too far left will funnel you into the creek. Which often has open water holes you can fall into. As with any out of bounds line, be sure to ski with a partner, carry food and water, enough layers to stay warm if you need to stay out longer than you planned, and a headlamp.
